Scented Playdoh Recipe Made From Conditioner and Corn Starch

You will need:

1 cup scented conditioner of choice
2 cups corn starch
1 large Ziploc freezer bag (MUST use Ziploc brand or it may leak/rip)
Food coloring (optional)



1.  Pour a cup of conditioner and  2 cups of corn starch into the Ziploc bag.  (Optional: Add a few drops of food coloring) Then close the Ziploc bag.



2.  Give the Ziploc bag a good kneading but be careful not to burst the Ziploc bag.  Stop once everything is mixed well.



3.   Take the Scented Playdoh out of the Ziploc and enjoy!

Easter Craft: Handprint Carrot

You will need:

  • Green construction paper
  • White construction paper
  • Orange tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil


1.  Cut a carrot shape out of the white construction paper and cut out small square shapes using the tissue paper.



2.  Trace the child's hand (on the green construction paper) using a pencil.  Cut the hand shape out and glue it on the top end of the carrot.



3. Spread the glue onto the carrot.  Let the child place the orange tissue paper onto the carrot.

St Patrick's Day Idea: Leprechaun's Pee

This is such a cute and fun idea for St Patrick's Day.  Kids will get a kick out of the green pee.  Even Leprechauns has to pee.


You will need:


  • Green food coloring
  • Green washable paint




1.  Add a few drops of paint and a few drops of food coloring into the toilet.


2.  Wait for the paint and food coloring mix with the water.  Add more paint and food coloring as needed.

St. Patrick's Day Craft: Bell Pepper Clovers

Here's what you'll need for this project:

  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • knife
  • washable green paint
  • paint brush
  • white construction paper
  • washable green marker
  • smock (to keep clothes clean)



1.  Cut off 1/4 of the bottom of the bell pepper.  Disregard or eat the smaller piece of bell pepper.  Remove the core and seeds.  Have the child wear a smock.  Apply paint on the cut surface with a paintbrush.


2.  Apply paint on the cut surface with a paintbrush.  Press or stamp the painted surface onto the white construction paper.



3.  Draw the stem of the clover with a green marker.

  • Eye hand coordination by using one hand holding the bell pepper and using the other hand stabilizing the paper
