Halloween Craft: Ghost Footprint

Halloween cannot be complete without a ghost. Create a ghost using your child's foot and some paint! This is a fun project perfect for Halloween. My kids in my class loved it so will yours.

You will need:
  • White paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Eye stickers (optional)
  • Black marker
  • Black paper



1.  Paint the bottom of the foot white.


2. Stamp the child's foot onto the black construction paper and let it dry.



3.  Once the paint dries cut out the footprint. Use the marker to draw in the eyes and mouth. As an option, you can use eye stickers for the eyes.

Halloween Craft: Frankenstein's Bride Footprint

Here is another great Halloween project that you and your child will love.  Create Frankenstein's Bride using your child's foot and some paint! The kids in my classroom loved it. This is a fun project to do along with the Frankenstein Footprint project.

You will need:
  • Black paint
  • Green paint
  • White paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Eye stickers
  • Black marker
  • Red marker
  • White paper


1.  Paint 1/4 of the bottom of the foot green.


2. Now paint the other 3/4 of the foot black.


3.  Stamp the child's footprint onto the white construction paper. Wait until the footprint is completely dry then add the eyes, mouth, and scar onto the green part of the footprint.


4.  Last but not least, use the white paint to draw the white streaks in Frankenstein's Bride's hair.

Halloween Craft: Frankenstein Footprint

Here is a great Halloween project that is fun for you and your child.  Create Frankenstein using your child's foot and some paint!

You will need:
  • Black paint
  • Green paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Eye stickers
  • Black marker
  • White paper


1.  Paint 1/3 of the top of the foot black.  Paint the bottom 2/3 of the foot green.



2.  Stamp the child's footprint onto the white construction paper. Wait until the footprint is completely dry before continuing to the next step.



3.  Stick the eye stickers onto the footprint.



4.  Use the black marker to draw in the details.

Halloween Craft: Paper Plate Pumpkin

Here is another Halloween project the Paper Plate Pumpkin. With a few items your child can make a cute pumpkin.

You will need:
  • Orange paint
  • Green paint
  • Paint brushes
  • Paper Plate
  • Scissors
  • Brown paper
  • White paper
  • Glue



1.  Paint the bottom of the paper plate orange and set aside to dry.
2. Paint one of your child's hand and press the hand onto the white paper. Allow the paint to dry. Once the paint is dry, cut out the hand print and set it aside.

3.  Take the brown paper and cut out the stem.

3.  Glue the stem behind the paper plate. 


4.  Glue the hand print onto the paper plate as shown above.
